About the Author

I love to watch the wild animals that live in my neighborhood, and often imagine stories about the lives they lead. My first book, The Magic Transport, is a woodchuck adventure love story, and is book one of the Woodchuck Chronicles.

Woodchuck Chronicles, Book 1

Will and Blossom are a young woodchuck couple who live along the banks of a mighty river. Overcrowded conditions caused by encroaching humans combined with the constant bullying from Blossom’s abusive brother and overbearing father makes Will long for a better life. He dreams of taking Blossom to Lakeland, a wondrous place with plenty of space for all animals. Unfortunately, it is located on the other side of the uncrossable river.

Through guidance from a wise owl named Orion, Will and Blossom decide to attempt a ride on the Magic Transport to get to Lakeland, something they had always thought to be a fairy tale. The dangerous journey takes them into the midst of humans and the animals who live among them, including a conniving tomcat named Midnight who is determined to ruin their dreams.
